It was nice to see the U.S. finally get spanked on an international stage for standing in the way of climate progress. Now we just need to swap being a leading nation in emissions for being a world leader in mitigating and adapting to climate impacts. Finding ways to adapt to the expected health impacts of climate change could not only benefit regional populations in the U.S. but also populations experiencing similar impacts around the world.
